What are Cuvée Candles candles?

Cuvée Candles are luxurious scented candles inspired by wine aromas. The perfectly coordinated interaction of vegan wax, high-quality perfume oil, eco-certified cotton wick and individual ceramic results in a luxurious scented candle that burns cleanly, evenly and slowly and creates an intensive scent experience in every room for more than 60 hours.

Do your candles contain wine?

No. Our products are inspired exclusively by wines and their aromas. We have collaborated with French master perfumers from Grasse to develop exclusive fragrance oils that capture the essence of wine aromas.

Where do the Cuvée Candles scents come from?

All Cuvée Candles fragrances were created by a team of perfumers in Grasse.

What wax does Cuvée Candles use?

The individual wax recipe “Cuvée” consists of high-quality, sustainable soy wax and olive wax and was specially adapted to the needs of the precious Cuvée Candles perfume oils and ceramics. Cuvée wax is vegan, natural and made from sustainably sourced soy, which is qualitatively protected through strict process controls. The soy wax is biodegradable, non-GMO, free of toxic substances and without synthetic additives. The cuvée wax mixture burns evenly and slowly, resulting in a particularly long service life of up to 60 hours. The colors used for the Cuvée Candles wax are vegan. All Cuvée Candles are poured by hand in the factory.

How long do Cuvée Candles scented candles burn?

The Signature Collection scented candles contain 250g of our Cuvée wax blend, which burns slowly and evenly for up to 60 hours. Burning time may vary depending on usage conditions (room temperature, humidity, etc.).

Quality & Sustainability

Are your products and packaging sustainable?

We do our best to offer the most sustainable solutions possible.

We use natural wax made from organically grown soy, which is environmentally friendly and safe to burn - it does not pollute the air or release toxic chemicals such as toluene, a benzene derivative known to be carcinogenic to humans. In addition, our Cuvée Candles wax blend is biodegradable, non-GMO, free of toxic substances and has no synthetic additives.

Our 100% cotton wicks are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and we source them from the leading German wick supplier, who is also an accredited supplier to the RAL Quality Association for Candles. GOTS is the world's leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

Our packaging material is made of FSC-certified and recycled paper with printing inks based on natural resins and oils as well as environmentally friendly and energy-saving technologies, and our label and shipping material are also made of FSC-certified paper.

Where are your products made?

Cuvée Candles is designed in Germany and hand-poured in Estonia. Our Estonian partner factory is 100% solar powered and is a leader in producing high quality natural scented candles and home fragrance products.

Are your products cruelty-free and vegan?

What is your product quality philosophy?

Our quality standards are reflected in every aspect of the product development process at Cuvée Candles. We have worked tirelessly to create a candle that meets our high standards of aesthetics and functions flawlessly. A candle is a very complex product consisting of several natural components influenced by several factors. That's why we monitor burning characteristics such as burn time, pool width and depth, flame height, wick length and position, soot, afterglow and more to ensure our candles meet the highest standards. Each candle undergoes rigorous testing in the laboratory, where each result is documented in a comprehensive burn report. These reports are then used to make corrections in the production process and ensure that each candle is of the highest quality. In addition to laboratory testing, all Cuvée candles are tested under various storage conditions to ensure they maintain their excellent quality.

Can I request gift wrapping for my order?

Every order is shipped in our exclusive box with a handwritten card. You can give your order as a gift or enjoy it yourself. If you would like to attach a personal message, please fill out the appropriate field. Our team will prepare gift packaging for you including your message on a handwritten Cuvée Candles card.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Your package will arrive within 3-5 days* after processing. If there is a significant delay in shipping your order, we will contact you by email.

*This applies to deliveries to Germany. We will coordinate delivery times for other countries and information about calculating the delivery date with you individually.

How can I check the status of my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number(s). If your shipment does not arrive or you have any problems, please send an email to contact@cuveecandles.com and we will help you resolve your issue.


What is your return policy?

If you change your mind about your purchase, please let us know by email. We ask that you return the items to us, unused and in their original packaging, within 14 days of purchase and offer an exchange, credit or full refund.

This does not affect your usual consumer rights, including your right to a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation if the goods are faulty or misdescribed. The costs of returning an item are borne by the customer. The only exception to this is if the item is faulty or was sent by us in error. We recommend that you return items via registered mail so that you have proof of postage in the event the item is lost. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance cover, particularly when returning valuable products. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. Any import duties incurred for shipping and returning items must be borne by you.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. Also, it must be in the original packaging for resale, which cannot be used as outer packaging for your shipment.

Returns must be communicated to us in advance by email (contact@cuveecandles.com), stating the reason for the return. Do not send goods without our prior knowledge.

If your items arrive damaged or broken, please email us within 48 hours with a photo of the damaged item. Our standard return policy is 14 days.
